You know the manipulation of the voters that is involved here. The manipulation of the vast uneducated masses of the usa. i dont care if they managed to cobble together $120,000.00 for tuition alone to a state university for a meaningless degree, perhaps in "computer science", because that is not an education. You cant so easily fool a person who has an "education". An education includes deductive reasoning, logic and critical essay writing. It involves thinking about ideas, discussing ideas and creating a thesis. It involves the arts; it involves questioning; it involves finding solutions. But how many people can come up with $120,000 for tuition, not to mention living expenses, books, etc? Well thank you Reaganites for dismantling free college education. All you suckers played into the overlords hand so well. they have you where they want you, barefoot, unemployed and ignorant. the better to manipulate you with my dear. But even if you can somehow indebt yourself and go to school, what does it mean today. "no child left behind" transformed public school into a test taking authoritarian environment, taking the focus away from educating children and into simply managing them. teaching to the test does not educate a person. only teaching educates a person. teaching people to think, to reason, to deduce should be the object of an education. not to parrot or regurgitate answers on a state test. so our children are no longer being educated but simply housed for a set period each day. thank you republicans. i know you first interest is maintaining your wealth and i know that a stupid population is in your best interest. but what about everyone who isnt wealthy. dont you want your kids to be smarter than you. look where you are. angry and so cowed that you will except some hussy calling you joe six pack and you dont see it is condescension. dont you see them looking down at you? they despise you and use you.
But you supported your own demise and backed the process of dismantling our "free" education system in the usa, along with all the other "for we the people" stuff that was so eagerly trashed by you starstruck reagan acolytes who so freely drained your own blood and those of your peers so that you could feel that you too were as sunkissed, blessed, and perhaps as handsome or rich,
as your idol the oddly mannikinesque/cadaveresque matinee movie star ronnie. While your children's rights to an education dissolved you innoculated yourself against pain with endless retreads of Star Trek. Dont you see that you are the fall guy for the Reagan dream?
So it is that politicos such as Rove know that an uneducated populace is the most agreeable kind of electorate because you can steal from them, lie to them (while entertaining them with folkisms) and destroy their futures and they dont even know it. they just angrily proclaim their solidarity with sarah, not understanding what they are so angry about. But Rove has given them a target. He tells them, hate the liberals, hate the media, they are the latte drinking, snobbish elite who have more than you do. but dont they see that Sarah is a multi millionaire? Sarah is not a soccer mom, her husband may be a soccer mom, but sarah is not a soccer mom. Sarah is not joe six pack. sarah is a rich right wing republican, just like cheney, rove, pat robertson and all the other posers who are sucking the lifeblood from the electorate and from this country.
