If the
re is a biopic then Frances McDormand could play Sarah Palin, and if there is a remake of Fargo, the Coen bros. could cast Sarah Palin as the feisty sheriff and she could entertain us with her spunk and cause less national damage than she will with McCain. You have heard that the spunky Sarah has tried to ban books from her Alaska libraries, is against abortion, wants creationism taught in public schools, scoffs at science and global warming, is for oil drilling in Alaska, shoots Polar Bears from helicopters and decorates her office with their carcasses, seeks secession from the union, and fired state officials, vigilante style, whom she personally disliked in retribution. and never mind the hypocrisy of family values, and public posturing of chastity and purity, and just say no. The Republican party depends on America's uneducated classes to support and champion the wealthiest american citizens. By keeping our educational standards low, the Republicans appeal to the nastiest instincts of human nature and the unexamined life. This cynical use of our country's innocent ignorants is sickening to behold. and Mitt Romney looks like an animatronic doll. Giuliani looks like the bartender in Kubrick's film The Shining. And if they win the election, we may as well be the undead patrons of that bar and all its spooks at the isolated Outlook hotel.
